Is the clock running down? Do you think you’re out of time? Don’t be silly, with the sun shining pretty much all year round in most of the popular locations around the globe you need not fear. If you want to be away for a certain period of time like the busy season between July and September then you might be able to catch cheap last minute holidays as flights will still be heading out and probably with space.
Being late could be an advantage if you work slick enough, you may see cheap last minute holidays advertised somewhere and if you do jump all over it. Another advantage is that when only a few seats are left on a flight companies become desperate to sell them and this can work to the customers advantage and as you may able to get them to bring the price down in order to make a sale.
With trying to catch cheap last minute holidays your destination list will be stunted somewhat, you won’t be catching any cheap trips to the Caribbean or Hawaiian Islands, unless you are blessed with a great deal of fortune. Mainland Europe will offer the best offers with little known towns and areas in countries like France offering cheap deals. For sun the likes of Greece and Spain will be your best bet with many islands off the south coasts of both countries.
The best advice for cheap last minute holidays is to keep your eyes open and ear to the ground so that you are aware of deal coming in, whether that means clicking the refresh button a website or checking local travel agents every other day. |
