Some of the quieter resorts in Menorca have limited tourist development, focusing more on family oriented Menorca holidays. With its azure waters, rocky inlets, magnificent coastline and long stretches of golden beaches, Menorca a little Balearic treasure.

Family water activities are a speciality during a Menorca holiday due to the calm waters surrounding the island. Yachting and Kayaking are good ways of exploring the island inlets. There are many a glass-bottomed boat trip and other boat trips around the island. The more adventurous might want to try their hand at windsurfing, scuba diving or snorkelling. Those wanting a bit of fun with the family can even hire a pedal boat with a water slide attached!

Visit the island between June and September and you are assured excellent spells of sunshine with temperatures in the high 20s guaranteeing a fabulous tan. If you don’t want to spend time basking on the one of Menorca’s spectacular beaches why not visit the capital Mao or Ciutadella with its spectacular architecture and picturesque ports. All have great shops, bars and excellent inexpensive restaurants. Next time you want to book a family break , you should definitely consider a Menorca holiday.
